I am Dr. Mike Stierstorfer, a practicing dermatologist in the metropolitan Philadelphia area and Manhattan. In conjunction with Saratoga Therapeutics, LLC, I am presenting VitaminA.org as your #1 internet resource for information about Vitamin A. My interest in vitamin A started during my dermatology residency training where I was involved in early studies investigating possible benefits of beta-carotene in preventing skin cancer. That interest has grown over my years of dermatology practice as the prominent role of vitamin A and vitamin A-derived medicines have proven to be vital in both health and disease. My intent is to provide information to help you become a more active participant in your own health and in interactions with your personal physicians or other healthcare providers.
